DUBLIN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: Dublin Chamber Collects Items for Local Families in Need

Dublin Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on Oct. 15.

The Dublin Chamber of Commerce and the NextGen Dublin Young Professionals Group encourage residents and area businesses to make a difference in the community by donating items to its Coat, Hat & Mitten Drive now through Dec. 19, 2019.

Gently used coats, hats and mittens and/or monetary donations may be dropped off at the Dublin Chamber at 129 S. High St. in historic Dublin, weekdays during office hours or brought to any Dublin Chamber or NextGen Dublin event. The Dublin Chamber has a convenient location, plenty of parking behind the building and is open Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. for all donations.

All coats, hats and mittens will be donated to the Welcome Warehouse, which helps Dublin residents who are struggling to meet basic needs because of a job loss, underemployment, health issues or other challenges.

Thank you to Dublin Chamber member Dublin Cleaners for generously providing its services to clean donated coats, hats and mittens.

If you would like more information on how you or your employer can get involved, please contact the Chamber at 614-889-2001.
