Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Elite Institute of Cosmetology


Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Elite Institute of Cosmetology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Ohio students paid $17,000 to attend the two-year private for-profit institution in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 75 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 8 students received grants or scholarships totaling $35,536 and 9 students took out student loans totaling more than $33,450.

Including all undergraduates (21), 11 students used grants or scholarships totaling $53,296, and 14 students took out $56,230 in federal student loans.
