Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Hobart Institute of Welding Technology, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.
Ohio students paid $16,880 to attend the private not-for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.
Data shows 54 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 178 students received grants or scholarships totaling $771,844 and 204 students took out student loans totaling more than $1.7 million.
Including all undergraduates (367), 251 students used grants or scholarships totaling $1 million, and 235 students took out $1.5 million in federal student loans.
