Graduates earn 3,473 degrees, certificates from Case Western Reserve University


About 20.4 percent of the 3,473 degrees and certificates handed out by Case Western Reserve University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Cleveland conferred 322 doctor's degrees and 294 master's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in social work. Data shows the school gave out 259 master's degrees in social work, followed by 198 doctor's degrees in medicine and 165 master's degrees in general finance.

The university enrolled 11,824 students for 2017-18, including 5,150 in undergraduate programs and 6,674 in graduate programs.
