Graduates earn 1,717 degrees, certificates from Franklin University


About 69.7 percent of the 1,717 degrees and certificates handed out by Franklin University in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Columbus conferred 776 bachelor's degrees and 388 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 307 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 300 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 189 bachelor's degrees in accounting.

The university enrolled 4,753 students for 2017-18, including 3,509 in undergraduate programs and 1,244 in graduate programs.
