Graduates earn 3,992 degrees, certificates from Bowling Green State University-Main Campus


About 19.4 percent of the 3,992 degrees and certificates handed out by Bowling Green State University-Main Campus in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Green conferred 476 bachelor's degrees and 156 master's degrees in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in education/teaching of individuals in early childhood special education programs. Data shows the school gave out 133 bachelor's degrees in education/teaching of individuals in early childhood special education programs, followed by 132 bachelor's degrees in "other" education and 131 master's degrees in "other" management information systems and services.

The university enrolled 17,357 students for 2017-18, including 14,680 in undergraduate programs and 2,677 in graduate programs.
