Graduates earn 1,012 degrees from The University of Findlay


About 36.9 percent of the 1,012 degrees and certificates handed out by The University of Findlay in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Findlay conferred 194 bachelor's degrees and 91 doctor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 158 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 66 master's degrees in general education and 62 bachelor's degrees in pre-veterinary studies.

The university enrolled 4,888 students for 2017-18, including 3,562 in undergraduate programs and 1,326 in graduate programs.
