Graduates earn 4,916 degrees, certificates from Miami University-Oxford


About 24.9 percent of the 4,916 degrees and certificates handed out by Miami University-Oxford in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Oxford conferred 1096 bachelor's degrees and 113 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in general finance. Data shows the school gave out 348 bachelor's degrees in general finance, followed by 314 bachelor's degrees in general marketing/marketing management and 207 bachelor's degrees in public relations/image management.

The university enrolled 19,700 students for 2017-18, including 17,147 in undergraduate programs and 2,553 in graduate programs.
