Graduates earn 1,472 degrees from Ashland University


About 25.9 percent of the 1,472 degrees and certificates handed out by Ashland University in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Ashland conferred 243 master's degrees and 136 bachelor's degrees in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in general business administration and management. Data shows the school gave out 223 master's degrees in general business administration and management, followed by 174 associate's degrees in general studies and 143 bachelor's degrees in nursing practice.

The university enrolled 6,471 students for 2017-18, including 4,813 in undergraduate programs and 1,658 in graduate programs.
