Graduates earn 7,692 degrees, certificates from Kent State University at Kent


About 17.9 percent of the 7,692 degrees and certificates handed out by Kent State University at Kent in 2017-18 were to students in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Kent conferred 1225 bachelor's degrees and 115 master's degrees in business, management, marketing, and related support services programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in registered nursing/registered nurse. Data shows the school gave out 554 bachelor's degrees in registered nursing/registered nurse, followed by 312 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 303 bachelor's degrees in general psychology.

The university enrolled 28,972 students for 2017-18, including 23,178 in undergraduate programs and 5,794 in graduate programs.
