Graduates earn 116 degrees from the Cleveland Institute of Art


About 87.1 percent of the 116 degrees and certificates handed out by the Cleveland Institute of Art in 2017-18 were to students in visual and performing arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Cleveland conferred 101 bachelor's degrees in visual and performing arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in industrial and product design. Data shows the school gave out 24 bachelor's degrees in industrial and product design, followed by 23 bachelor's degrees in illustration and 13 bachelor's degrees in graphic design.

The institute enrolled 636 students for 2017-18, all of whom were enrolled in undergraduate programs.
