Graduates earn 663 degrees, certificates from Ohio Northern University


About 32.9 percent of the 663 degrees and certificates handed out by Ohio Northern University in 2017-18 were to students in health professions and related programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Ada conferred 151 doctor's degrees and 64 bachelor's degrees in health professions and related programs.

But the single most popular program was for a doctor's degree in pharmacy. Data shows the school gave out 151 doctor's degrees in pharmacy, followed by 59 doctor's degrees in law and 48 bachelor's degrees in mechanical engineering.

The university enrolled 3,088 students for 2017-18, including 2,312 in undergraduate programs and 776 in graduate programs.
