5.2 percent of Case Western Reserve University students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 5.2 percentage of Case Western Reserve University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Case Western Reserve University has 5,150 undergraduate students, of which 55 percent are men and 45 percent are women, and a total student body of 11,824 students. Of these students, 402 men and 218 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Case Western Reserve University with the most participants are track and field, indoor (111), track and field, outdoor (96) and football (94).
