4.3 percent of University of Dayton students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 4.3 percentage of University of Dayton students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

University of Dayton has 8,499 undergraduate students, of which 52 percent are men and 48 percent are women, and a total student body of 10,882 students. Of these students, 237 men and 231 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at University of Dayton with the most participants are football (113), all track combined (91) and soccer (61).
