2.2 percent of University of Toledo students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 2.2 percentage of University of Toledo students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

University of Toledo has 16,194 undergraduate students, of which 51 percent are men and 49 percent are women, and a total student body of 20,579 students. Of these students, 203 men and 258 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at University of Toledo with the most participants are football (120), all track combined (116) and basketball (50).
