35.8 percent of Wittenberg University students played sports on university teams in 2016-2017


In 2016-2017, 35.8 percentage of Wittenberg University students participated in collegiate sports, according to data made available by the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES).

Wittenberg University has 1,857 undergraduate students, of which 54 percent are women and 46 percent are men, and a total student body of 1,884 students. Of these students, 404 men and 270 women represented the school by participating in one or more of the sports with teams at the school.

This total does not include students playing intramural sports.

According to NCES, 4.3 percent of students enrolled at institutions of higher education with sports teams were on teams.

The sports at Wittenberg University with the most participants are football (125), track and field, outdoor (77) and track and field, indoor (77).
