55 percent of applicants to Hondros College of Nursing were admitted for fall 2017


At Hondros College of Nursing, 78 percent of undergraduate students are nontraditional students - age 25 or older - and 92 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private for-profit institution in Westerville enrolled 2,093 students in fall 2017, all in undergraduate programs, data shows. 30.6 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

100 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (48 percent) and Black or African American (44 percent).

The school admitted 55 percent of the 211 students who applied for fall 2017. Of those who were admitted, 72 percent enrolled.
