University of Rio Grande enrolls 1,753 undergrads


At University of Rio Grande, 70 percent of undergraduate students are traditional students - age 24 or younger - and 64 percent are female, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The four-year private not-for-profit institution in Rio Grande enrolled 1,812 students in fall 2017, including 1,753 in undergraduate and 59 in graduate programs, data shows. 5 percent of undergraduates transferred from another college or university.

83 percent of undergraduates are residents of Ohio, and 5 percent are residents of other states. 2 percent are citizens of foreign countries.

The undergraduate student body is comprised mostly of students who identify as white (77 percent) and Black or African American (3 percent).
