EUROPEAN-AMERICAN CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: EACC Behind the Scenes -- July 2018

The Board of Directors of the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) met for its regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the offices of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, with Board President Doug Moormann chairing the meeting.


European-American Chamber of Commerce issued the following announcement on July 30.

The Board of Directors of the European American Chamber of Commerce (EACC) met for its regularly scheduled quarterly meeting on Thursday, July 26, 2018 at the offices of the Cincinnati USA Regional Chamber of Commerce, with Board President Doug Moormann chairing the meeting.

After welcoming all and introducing a few prospective board members (including Annie Daniel from PNC, and Kimberly Rippe from STEP Resources/Lykins Energy Group), Mr. Moormann asked Harold Kremer of Barnes Dennig to present the results of the 2016/2017 audit of the EACC. Following Mr. Kremer's report the board voted to approve the report.

Mr. Moormann reviewed the results of a July 3 meeting of the EACC's Executive Committee, including:

A review of the EACC's social media policy

An update on the status of Board Leadership for 2019, including the work of the Audit committee to fill officer positions

Plans to fill an expected 10 week absence of EACC Operations Manager Dayna O'Brien

EACC Executive Director Todd Schwartz also updated the Board on the progress of the "Voice of the Customer" study being led by EACC member firm Start Something Bold and a draft planning calendar for 2019.

EACC members in good standing may request a copy of the full minutes of the meeting once they have been approved by the board at its next meeting on Thursday, October 25.
