Graduates earn 39 degrees from Art Academy of Cincinnati


About 92.3 percent of the 39 degrees and certificates handed out by the Art Academy of Cincinnati in 2016-17 were to students in Visual and Performing Arts programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Cincinnati conferred 36 bachelor's degrees in Visual and Performing Arts programs.

But the single most popular program was for a bachelor's degree in Painting. Data shows the school gave out 10 bachelor's degrees in Painting, followed by 7 bachelor's degrees in Illustration and 7 bachelor's degrees in Photography.

The academy enrolled 207 students for 2016-17, including 201 in undergraduate programs and 6 in graduate programs.
