Graduates earn 231 degrees, certificates from Northeast Ohio Medical University


About 60.2 percent of the 231 degrees and certificates handed out by the Northeast Ohio Medical University in 2016-17 were to students in Medicine, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the public institution in Rootstown conferred 139 doctor's degrees in Medicine.

Other popular programs include Pharmacy, Bioethics/Medical Ethics and Pharmacy Administration and Pharmacy Policy and Regulatory Affairs.

The university enrolled 959 students for 2016-17, all of whom were enrolled in 959 programs.
